2018 – CHECKINGS / 8 OCTOBRE : BIARRITZ
Today, Monday October 8, the participants had an appointment at the Hotel du Palais in Biarritz on the eve of the departure of the 3rd edition of the Rally Entre 2 Mers, for the traditional day of administrative and technical checks.
Under nice weather and a mild temperature, the 49 cars in the two categories, Classic and Prestige, were then dressed in the colors of the rally to take the official start of the event to the Port des Pêcheurs in the end of the day, where was held the opening dinner of the Rally, at the famous Restaurant “Chez Albert”.
Note the presence of our watch company partner Breitling who presented their collection main models and the “SuperOcean” that will be won at the end of the 4 stages, 1200km, and 2 circuits that participants will have faced during this week of rally.
The entire M6 TV team and the “Turbo” show, led by Dominique Chapatte, is also present on this Rally Entre 2 Mers and will cover the entire event at the wheel of an Alpine A110 and a Renault Megane RS for a colorful report that will be released soon.
We are looking forward seeing you tomorrow for the first leg from Biarritz to Pau. The Rally will have really started and the first track session on the route of Pau-Arnos will have already set the first trends in the overall standings.
