2018 – STAGE 3 / 11 OCTOBER : CARCASSONNE – LES BAUX

Today this 100% new stage has allowed us to discover, in turn, the best of the Minervois and Haut-Languedoc landscapes.

The organization of the rally decided to change at the last minute the course in the Cevennes, meteorologic « orange vigilance » requiring caution, the picnic offered by Petrossian has been relocated from the Pont du Diable to the vineyard of the Moulin de Lene with a warm welcome, products were savored close the barrels of wine in a friendly atmosphere.

After lunch the competitors took the direction of the wine territories through roads leading to the nearby Provence and which marked definitively our march forward towards the Alpilles. Not forgetting the passage in the Camargue, between bulls, horses and rice fields before joining the white and eroded stones of the Alpilles where we stay for the night at the Domaine de Manville and its breathtaking view on the Baux de Provence!

Appointment is taken for the fourth and final stage of the rally tomorrow, from Les Baux fto the arrival in St Tropez, place des Lices.
