2019 – STAGE 1 / 9 OCTOBER : SAN SEBASTIAN – PAMPELUNE

For this unprecedented edition of the Rally Entre 2 Mers, the course quickly escaped from the suburbs of the city bathed by the Atlantic along the river Urumea for much of the morning and join the Estrella coast in the heart of the province Navarre.
The immediately sinuous route allowed the competitors to get on their feet during this first half day of rally, which unfortunately did not succeed to the crew CLOUZEAU / CLOUZEAU at the wheel of the Lotus is obliged to give up following a mechanical failure.

Once the men and machines heated, it was necessary to fight with the stopwatch on the circuit of Navarra and its hilly profile offering many turns both blind and slope for strong driving sensations where everyone took a lot of fun to drive.

The circuit session ended, it was necessary to resume the road to the lake of Alloz turquoise hues via a rolling route and engaged to reach Pampelona, capital of Navarre, famous for its celebrations of Saint-Firmin, where the bulls are usually launched in crazy races in the streets of the old town.

The hotel Très Reyes which welcomes us tonight is located close to these mythical places generally frequented by young people dressed in white proudly wearing scarves and red belts braving the powerful cattle launched, all horns forward, in their pursuit!
