7th Rally Entre 2 Mers

STAGE 4 – GARGAS – MONACO / FRIDAY 7th OCTOBER 2022

For this final stage, no circuit on the program but a route giving way to the places usually frequented by one of the biggest rallies in the world: The Monte-Carlo. These places inevitably resonate in the memories of rally aficionados and competitors will have enjoyed exploring them at the wheel of your cars.

From the Relais et Château “La Coquillade”, the route first honored the colorado of the Lubéron then the Gorges du Verdon and its turquoise and azure colors, for a crossing leading to lunch established at the Auberge typical du Point Sublime not far from Castelane.

It was then necessary to enter the hinterland of Nice for a succession of very winding roads, with the high point “Le Mas – Aiglun” and its impressive clues where the trajectories of the greatest rallymen were drawn in the past.

As the Mediterranean stretched out as far as the eye could see when reaching the Principality of Monaco via La Turbie, it was time to conclude this 1200km automobile journey.

It is at Monte-Carlo Bay that we celebrate this evening the big winners of the two “classic” and “prestige” categories of this 7th edition of the Rallye Entre 2 Mers, vintage 2022, whose course will, we hope, delight every crew. Appointment is already made for next year!
