5th Rally Entre 2 Mers: Stage 2 \/ Monestier – Carcassonne<\/h2>\r\n

\r\nLeaving the medieval city of Carcassonne, under a returning sun, the chosen route took the roads bordered by the Minervois vineyards before attacking the first foothills of the C\u00e9vennes. This non-circuit stage will give pride of place to regularity challenges disputed on medium mountain courses and marked by impressive villages nestled in the H\u00e9rault Valley.\r\n

\r\nThe ubiquitous guarrigue then took us to Lake Salagou and its red lands, then to Clos Trinit\u00e9 where a “Petrossian” picnic lunch was served, in the bucolic setting of an authentic sheepfold, shaded by hackberry trees. , with a panorama looking down to the Mediterranean. This surprising stopover marked midday before resuming the road towards the Devil’s Bridge and its eroded causses.\r\n

\r\nA very winding “special” was then on the program for the afternoon which did not lack rhythm to reach N\u00eemes then cross the Rh\u00f4ne in sight of the Alpilles and the fortress of Baux, not far from Saint-Remy de Provence and produce of an evening in the heart of Provence in the colors of Lamborghini Cannes and Roger Dubuis who exhibited their models there.\r\n
