2017 – STAGE 2 \/ 12 OCTOBRE : LES BAUX – SOLDEU<\/h1>\r\n\"\"<\/a>

Baux-de-Provence – Abbaye de Fontfroide – Circuit d\u2019Andorre – Soldeu<\/h2>\r\n\r\nFrom the city of Les Baux, competitors discovered the Abbey of Montmajour, not far from Arles, and crossed the Camargue before joining Aigues-Mortes, fortified citadel unreal, between marshes and lagoons.\r\n
\r\n“The medieval” left, the road narrowed to offer a typical landscape of the Entre 2 Mers, with on the right the salt marshes and on the left the Mediterranean Sea.\r\n

\r\nAfter a first CP which questioned the competitors on their morning course, the Rallye carane joined the Abbey of Fontfroide for a lunch mixing gastronomy and history, in this place built in the 12th century.\r\n
\r\n\"\"<\/a>The afternoon was more tormented with the crossing of the Corbi\u00e8res massif before the road narrows to give way to the beautiful gorges and hills of the Cathar country announced our entry into the Pyrenees massif.\r\n

\r\nThe numerous perched castles will mark the route before reaching Ax-les-Thermes, the starting point of the ascent to the principality of Andorra. The climb to the Pas de la Case made by the highway revealing the famous Circuit of Andorra, traditionally raced on ice, at the Andros Trophy at the top of the Envalira pass at 2,400 meters.\r\n

\r\nIn October, the paved runway was part of the route and proposed, for this second race on the circuit of the Rally “Entre 2 Mers” 2017, a winding track with a peculiarity turn left interminable.\r\n

\r\n
  • At the end of this second test on circuit, the fast and sinuous plan will have allowed the Shelby Cobra of the crew Thomas & Joy KERN to take away the test in the Classic category.<\/li>\r\n
  • Concerning Prestige, Didier & Sophia BURBAN pick up the honors at the wheel of their Ferrari 488 Spider.<\/li>\r\n
    \r\nCompetition for the second place in Prestige will not have allowed to decide between Eric et Lisa IMIOLA crews (Porsche 911) and Michel and Laurence GOSSE (Ferrari 458 Spider) which end ex-Aequo!\r\n

    \r\nAs the day draws to a close, the participants have joined Soldeu and the sublime Hotel Sport Hermitage & Spa, a majestic chalet offering breathtaking views of the Pyrenees massif and offering an exceptional spa of 5 000 m2 to begin the evening in smoothness.\r\n
    \r\nTomorrow, head for Spain and the Pyrenees to get to Pau at the end of the day.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
