2017 – STAGE 1 \/ 11 OCTOBER : SAINT-TROPEZ – LES BAUX<\/h1>\r\n\"\"<\/a>

St-Tropez – Forcalquier – Circuit Grand Sambuc – Baux-de-Provence<\/h2>\r\n\r\nThe start of the 2nd Rallye Entre 2 Mers was given this morning at 8.15 am at the Ch\u00e2teau de la Messardi\u00e8re. The rally rushed towards the Massif de la Garde-Freinet for about thirty kilometers of uninterrupted turns before returning to the Canjuers camp and the Gorges du Verdon.\r\n

\r\nThe objective this morning was to reach Forcalquier, where participants were expected to enjoy a gastronomic lunch at the Couvent des Minimes, in the heart of the Luberon National Park.\r\n
\r\nAfter this halt with the Mediterranean flavors break, the course made heading “full South” to go on the Circuit of the Grand Sambuc. This is where the first racing session for competitors took place. The undulating course of the circuit suggested an excellent entry … promise held!\r\n

\r\n\"\"<\/a>Classic & Prestige have therefore opened the sporting hostilities without waiting. On Classic side, KERN Thomas & KERN Joy (Shelby Cobra) took the first place of the event. For Prestige Category, the crew BURBAN Didier & BURBAN Sophia won (Ferrari 488 Spider).\r\n

\r\nBack on the road, competitors then discovered the confines of the Alpilles by winding not far from Eyagali\u00e8res and the Baux-de-Provence, by the historical road of the Roman aqueducts.\r\n

\r\nThe arrival of this first stage was organized at Les Baux de Provence, at the Domaine de Manville. An exceptional place, at the foot of Les Baux and in the heart of a very nice golf course.\r\nTomorrow, the Rally Caravan will take competitors to Soldeu, Andorra, where a highly anticipated race at the Circuit Automobile will be held at 2400 meters.\r\n\r\n
